Secretary

Mind ever calculating and keen.
Full of facts, figures, memories and dreams.
Running like a machine.
Short term memory failing.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
Where did I put that last thought?
Is my ship about to sail?
Might be time to start taking some ginkgo biloba.
Or perhaps time to hire a new secretary in the old brain case.
Filing cabinets must be full.
Must be time to sort things out and send some stuff to the shredder.
Time to dust out the cobwebs and get the furnace stoked.
To make this machine run faster and put out some smoke.
Spring is here and it brings so many things.
